or uses a ghost account or has a spy of his own on the Rook side. He belongs to no squad (at least not that account) and I have material evidence for all who want it (e-mail me jdohmann@hotmail.com with the heading SPY FILM for a copy of the film). My squadmates and I had a stealth night-time jabo attack in the works that spanned five sectors of water to a rear enemy base that had probably not seen action AT ALL since the map started. None of us broke above radar level the whole flight. None of us broke radio silence outside our squad channel. The mission was not posted. And yet, as we were more than tw sectors out, we spot a dar bar over the target base (The run was from A29 to A21 on the Mindanao map for all who care). The bar vanished soon enough, but not long after TYAA comes along in his Typhoon on the deck goon hunting. We kill him on the first pass, but on the second he nails one of our goons. We end up scrapping the mission pretty much out of pure frustration. We had a goon still up, but too few jabos to do the work and TYAA was constantly reupping to fend off our attack.

I'm sure most of you would wonder why I bring this up at all. After all, there aren't really any rules governing spies and they are pretty much accepted as part of the game. Well, something needs to be done and since WE ARE GIVEN NO MEANS OF DEFENSE AGAINST SPIES, the only thing I can think of is to make their names public. I encourage you to do the same. Try to have material evidence if not 5 or more witnesses. Even then the only thing I could think of to combat a known spy is verbal abuse and that may not be effective. But I'm doing all i can because i know something needs to be done.

I hope you're not a Bish or Knight because basically now I'm going to SIT IN SOME TOWER and watch the radar and REPORT BACK TO THE ROOKS the location of all raiding dots. Maybe I'll use channel 1 to report into to Rook HQ just so that everyone knows what I'm doing. Now doesn't that sound like a lot more fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I fly for all countries and I don't care a bit about milkrunning raids or the great holy war between chess pieces... be my guest. Doing this will have absolutely no impact on my game whatsoever, and may in fact increase the fun level for me substantially if it means fewer porked bases and strat targets.

You people always crying "SPIES! SPIES!" are dumb. A few nights ago I was called a spy because I found a low goon on the deck headed for one of my fields.

The funny thing was, I was obviously damaged (trailing white smoke) but he insisted I upped only to kill him. He was my 3rd kill that flight, and just happened to be heading to the same field I was retreating to -- bad luck.

I was treated to text like "People like you ruin this game! blah blah blah" for a few minutes but then (quite unexpectantly) he apologized.

If you're worried about spies, you take Aces High too seriously. If you're attacking undefended fields you might have more fun playing offline.
